Rate and Insurance Information

River Rise Counseling and Psychological Services is a fee for service practice. We accept debit/credit cards including HSA and FSA, and fees are paid at each session.

We strive to make our fees clear and fair based on current market rates for psychological services. River Rise is not in-network with any insurance panels, but we have existing relationships as out of network providers with Florida Blue and UHC Student Resources. For clients wishing to use out of network coverage with either of those plans, we are able to handle the billing and reimbursement in house, meaning you would only pay the applicable deductible/co-pays/co-insurance at the time of service.

For all other plans, we are happy to provide documentation and support in filing for out of network reimbursement. In those instances clients pay the self pay rate at the time of the session and are then reimbursed directly by their insurance company.

2024 Rates for service:

Individual counseling/Performance consultation: $175

Couples or 90 minute extended sessions: $240

Workshops, trainings, or organizational presentations: Based on needs, please reach out to discuss.

*At times we are able to offer services at reduced rates for clients with financial needs. If finances are a barrier for you, please feel free to inquire about options.

You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost.

Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.

  • You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees.

  • Make sure your health care provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate writing at least 1 business day before your medical service or item.

  • You can also ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or
    service.

  • If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.

  • Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.

For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call 352-575-0055.
